Sports Leagues at the
Taunton Clubhouse

The floor hockey program at the Taunton Clubhouse has been a source of community spirit and Club pride since its inception in 1964. 

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South first began the Floor Hockey Hall of Fame in 2020 as a way to acknowledge the pride Club alumni feel for the multi-generational program, and to honor those that have made a lasting impact in the Taunton Clubhouse’s 119-year history.

The Tiger Sharks Swim Club is a competitive swim program for kids ages 6 to 17. All four competitive strokes as well as proper race starts, turns, techniques, strategies, and nutrition, are taught to participants. The program utilizes a technique-centered approach to coaching, in addition to speed and mental exercises. Practices typically run from mid-September to mid-March, with competitions beginning in November.

Our ALL STARS program is an organized league sports and fitness program including a variety of sports such as Flag Football, Soccer, and Basketball for youth ages 6-18. 

ALL STARS is supported by a partnership between Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and Buffalo Wild Wings and aims to increase opportunities for physical activity, social interaction, and recognition through organized sports programming for all youth. ALL STARS helps members have fun, get active, and make healthy choices! 

Boys & Girls Club staff lead these leagues for young athletes with the ability to share in teamwork, friendship, and character building. These fun filled leagues are open to athletes of all skill levels with a passion for fair play, respect for one another, and a belief in helping to make our community brighter for all.
